How do I verify my account?
To verify your DEGX account, you'll need to provide a government-issued ID (passport, driver's license, or national ID) and proof of address (utility bill or bank statement less than 3 months old). The verification process typically takes 1-2 business days. You can start the verification process in your account settings under the "Verification" section.
What are the deposit and withdrawal limits?
Deposit and withdrawal limits vary based on your verification level. For unverified accounts, the daily withdrawal limit is $2,000. For verified Level 1 accounts, the limit increases to $50,000 daily. Level 2 verified accounts have custom limits based on additional documentation. There are no deposit limits for cryptocurrency deposits.
How long do withdrawals take?
Cryptocurrency withdrawals are typically processed within 30 minutes. However, processing times may vary depending on network congestion. Fiat withdrawals to bank accounts usually take 1-3 business days. Withdrawals to credit/debit cards may take 2-5 business days depending on your bank's processing times.
What security measures does DEGX have?
DEGX employs multiple security layers including: 98% of funds in cold storage, two-factor authentication (2FA), address whitelisting, anti-phishing code, device management, and regular security audits. We also offer insurance coverage for digital assets held in our custody and maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance.
How do I enable two-factor authentication?
To enable 2FA: 1) Go to your account settings, 2) Click on "Security", 3) Select "Two-Factor Authentication", 4) Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator or Authy), 5) Enter the 6-digit code from your app, 6) Save your backup codes in a secure location. We highly recommend enabling 2FA for enhanced account security.
What should I do if I suspect unauthorized activity?
If you notice any suspicious activity: 1) Immediately change your password, 2) Enable 2FA if not already active, 3) Contact our support team through the "Help" section of your account, 4) Review your account activity and device management, 5) If funds were withdrawn without authorization, provide transaction details to our security team. We investigate all reports of unauthorized activity promptly.
